A Message from the Owner
I began Outside Insight, Inc. in 1989, fulfilling
a long time dream of owning my own building
business. Prior to that, I worked in various aspects
of the building trades as a contractor in an effort to build a wide
knowledge base. My educational background includes
 engineering,
deck design, energy management, and solar and
construction technologies. I was awarded a Good
Conduct Medal and Army Accommodation Medal during my
service in the U.S. military. My wife, Dottie, and I
have two children. I earned a black belt in Tae Kwon
Do in 1991, and enjoy cooking, rock climbing and
sailing with my family.
